Best Home Loan Agents and Platforms in Hyderabad 2026: Agencies, DSAs and Lenders

For a home loan in Hyderabad in 2026, the platforms to look at include Ambak, NoBroker, Urban Money, Andromeda and MagicBricks. Ambak is a home loan marketplace with a Hyderabad city page and an office in Ameerpet. The rest are property portals and loan distributors. Two housing finance lenders, Can Fin Homes and Truhome Finance (formerly Shriram Housing Finance), are also described below.

Disclosure: This list is published by Ambak. Ambak is our own platform, so it is listed first. The other platforms are not ranked against each other. Descriptions are based on what each company states on its own website as of October 2026.

People who search for a home loan agent or a home loan agency in Hyderabad are looking for an intermediary that arranges a loan from a bank or housing finance company for them. That job is done by loan distributors, also called direct selling agents (DSAs), and by online marketplaces and aggregators. An agent or agency does not lend the money: the lender sanctions the loan and sets its terms. The companies below are the organised form of that service.

Home Loan Agents and Platforms in Hyderabad: What Each One Does

1. Ambak

Ambak is an online marketplace that connects home buyers with banks and housing finance companies. Hyderabad is one of the cities linked from the ambak.com home page and footer, the site has a dedicated Home Loan in Hyderabad page, and the contact page lists an office in Ameerpet.

The home page of ambak.com states 75+ lending partners, Rs 10,000 Cr+ of loans disbursed, 15,000+ families served and 12 cities. Ambak says the service is free for borrowers; any processing fee belongs to the lender and is charged by the lender.

The offer flow says it shows the maximum loan amount in about 60 seconds, and the site says this check does not affect the credit score. One advisor is assigned for the whole application, from the first document to disbursal. Progress can be followed on the application tracker, which sends WhatsApp and email notifications.

Ambak lists eight products: home loan, loan against property, balance transfer, top up, plot loan, construction loan, NRI home loan and home repair loan. Tools include an EMI calculator and a tax saving calculator. Ambak says it raised $7 million in a round led by Peak XV Partners' Surge, in a post dated 29 January 2025. It displays an official partner badge of the Delhi Development Authority.

2. NoBroker

NoBroker describes itself as a real estate platform that lets people buy, sell or rent a house without paying brokerage. Its home loan arm is an add-on to that property business. The home loan page says users can compare 15+ banking partners, follow a three-step process and use EMI and eligibility calculators. NoBroker says the service is end to end, costs the borrower nothing and comes with a dedicated field relationship manager at the doorstep. The loan form asks for the applicant's city. The full list of cities was not available to us, so check Hyderabad coverage on the form.

3. Urban Money

Urban Money is a Gurugram-based loan advisory and distribution business in the Square Yards group. It dates its inception to 2014. Its site says it offers products from over 95 banks and NBFCs and works with 1,50,000 channel partners, with an annual transaction value of Rs 40,000 Cr+; none of these figures carries a date. Home loan support, as the company describes it, runs from picking a suitable product through documentation, legal and insurance consulting, to disbursal. Hyderabad is one of more than 30 cities linked from its home loan page.

4. Andromeda

Andromeda Sales & Distribution Private Limited is a Mumbai-headquartered loan distributor that calls itself India's largest loan distribution network. According to its about page it began in 1991 as a direct sales associate for Citibank and today has 500+ branches, 5,000+ employees, 25,000+ financial advisors and a footprint of 1,500+ cities. The same page states 200+ lending partners and Rs 1.08 lakh crore of loans disbursed in FY 2024-25 across products. MagicBricks is a property portal that also runs a home loan service. Its home loan page states offers from 34+ banks, 18 cities covered, 8,100+ customers served and Rs 5,500+ Cr disbursed; the figures are undated and the 18 cities are not named on the page we read. The page says a home loan expert calls the applicant and offers one-to-one support. It also has EMI, eligibility, balance transfer and pre-payment calculators and a credit score check.

Whatever the label, the loan agreement is always between the borrower and a lender. A marketplace, distributor or portal sits in between: it helps you find a lender, collects documents and follows up on the file. The sanction, the interest terms and the disbursal come from the bank or housing finance company.

The types differ mainly in where the borrower starts. With a property portal the loan request begins beside a property listing. With a distributor it begins with an advisor. With a marketplace it begins with an online offer check. With a direct lender it begins at that lender's branch or website, and only its own products are on the table.

How to Choose a Home Loan Platform in Hyderabad

  1. Verify the project with the regulator. The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TG RERA) is the state authority. The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 bars a promoter from advertising or selling a project that needs registration unless it is registered with the authority. Check the registration before you pay a booking amount.
  2. Compare on the annual percentage rate. RBI's Key Facts Statement circular requires lenders to give prospective borrowers of retail term loans a standard statement before the loan contract is executed. It contains the annual percentage rate, which counts interest and all other charges, and a repayment schedule.
  3. Treat the statement as the full fee list. The circular says fees not mentioned in the Key Facts Statement cannot be charged at any stage of the loan without the borrower's explicit consent.
  4. Check prepayment terms. For loans sanctioned or renewed on or after 1 January 2026, RBI directs that banks and NBFCs shall not levy pre-payment charges on floating rate loans to individuals for non-business purposes.
  5. Know who is accountable for the agent. Under RBI's outsourcing guidelines, the lender remains responsible for what its direct sales agents do and must have a code of conduct for them.
  6. Match the lender to your income type. Some lenders say they focus on salaried borrowers and others on the self-employed. Ask the platform which lenders on its panel suit your profile.
  7. Ask about local presence. Find out whether the platform has an office or advisors in Hyderabad who can meet you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the home loan agents in Hyderabad?

Home loan agents in Hyderabad are of three kinds: individual direct selling agents (DSAs) attached to one bank, loan distribution agencies such as Andromeda and Urban Money, and online marketplaces such as Ambak. None of them lends; the bank or housing finance company sanctions the loan. The RBI holds a bank responsible for the conduct of the agents it uses.

Does a home loan agent or agency charge the borrower?

It depends on the agent, so ask before sharing documents. Ambak states on its website that its service is free for borrowers. Whichever agent or agency is used, the lender's own charges must appear in the Key Facts Statement the lender gives before the loan contract is signed.

Does Ambak offer home loans in Hyderabad?

Yes. Hyderabad appears in the city list on the ambak.com home page and footer, Ambak has a Home Loan in Hyderabad page, and its contact page lists an office in Ameerpet. Borrowers can check offers online and are assigned one advisor for the full application, according to the site.

Which home loan platform should a first-time buyer in Hyderabad use?

It depends on how you prefer to work. Ambak, listed first as this is its own page, states 75+ lending partners and online tracking. NoBroker and MagicBricks combine loans with property search. Urban Money and Andromeda work through advisors. Ask each which lenders it can reach for your income type and locality.

Is using a home loan platform free in Hyderabad?

Ambak says it is free for borrowers and has no hidden costs. NoBroker describes its home loan service as free of cost. For any platform, ask the question directly before you share documents. Lender charges are separate and must be shown in the Key Facts Statement.

What is the difference between a platform and a housing finance company?

A housing finance company such as Can Fin Homes or Truhome Finance lends its own funds and takes the credit decision. A platform does not lend. It introduces you to lenders, helps with paperwork and follows the file. You can use a platform to reach a housing finance company or approach the company yourself.

Are my documents safe with a loan platform or agent?

RBI's outsourcing guidelines make the lender responsible for the confidentiality of customer information held by its sales agents and service providers. As a practical step, confirm the legal entity behind the platform, upload documents only on its official site or app, and avoid sending originals to personal numbers.
