Home Loan Platforms in Jaipur: What Each One Does
1. Ambak
Ambak calls itself a fintech marketplace for home loans. The company behind it is TENB Fintech Private Limited, based in Gurugram, Haryana. Ambak does not lend. Its home page states 75+ lending partners, Rs 10,000 Cr+ of loans disbursed, 15,000+ families and 12 cities, with no date attached.
In Jaipur, Ambak has a Home Loan in Jaipur page and takes applications online. Its contact page does not list a Jaipur office.
The site says each borrower gets a dedicated advisor, the same person from first document to disbursal, available on WhatsApp or by phone. An application tracker shows completed, ongoing and upcoming steps after login with a registered mobile number, and sends WhatsApp and email notifications. There is also an EMI calculator.
Ambak says its service is free for borrowers, with lender charges applying separately, and that checking offers has no impact on the credit score. Its home loan range also covers balance transfer, top-up, plot, construction, NRI and home repair loans, and loan against property. The company says it raised $7 million in a round led by Peak XV Partners' Surge (post dated 29 January 2025), and its site displays an official partner badge of the Delhi Development Authority.

Jaipur is one of the cities linked from its home-loan page. The company says it supports a borrower from choosing the product through documentation, legal and insurance consulting, to disbursal. It states 1,50,000 channel partners and Rs 40,000 Cr+ in annual transaction value; no date is given for either.

Housing Finance Lenders for Jaipur Borrowers
One of the two lenders here is a Jaipur company. Both are listed housing finance companies that lend directly and say they serve low- and middle-income households.
| Lender | Type | Segment it says it serves | Founded / headquarters |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aavas Financiers | Housing finance company, listed on BSE and NSE | Low and middle income customers in semi-urban and rural areas | Incorporated in Jaipur, 2011; registered and corporate office in Jaipur |
| Aadhar Housing Finance | Housing finance company, listed on BSE and NSE | Low- and middle-income families in semi-urban and rural areas | Established 2010; registered office in Bengaluru |
Aavas Financiers
Aavas Financiers was incorporated in Jaipur on 23 February 2011 and began operations in March 2012, according to its about page. Its registered and corporate office is in the Mansarover Industrial Area, Jaipur. The company listed on BSE and NSE in October 2018. It says it gives housing loans to low and middle income customers in semi-urban and rural areas, both self-employed and salaried, and operates 443 branches in 15 states and union territories (undated). Platform, Marketplace, DSA or Direct Lender: How They Differ
| Type | How it works | Your contract is with | In this list |
|---|---|---|---|
| Online marketplace | One application, offers from several lenders, online tracking | The lender you choose | Ambak, BASIC Home Loan |
| Loan distributor / DSA | An advisor sources your file and submits it to lenders | The lender you choose | Urban Money, Andromeda |
| Comparison aggregator | Side-by-side comparison of credit products online | The lender you choose | None on this page |
| Property portal with a loan service | A property site that also takes loan enquiries | The lender you choose | None on this page |
| Direct lender | The lender's own staff appraise and sanction the loan | That lender | Aavas Financiers, Aadhar Housing Finance |
Whatever route you take, the loan agreement is signed with a bank or a housing finance company. A marketplace and a DSA differ mainly in how they reach you: the first through a website or app, the second through advisors on the ground. Neither sanctions the loan. RBI's outsourcing guidelines for banks list loan sanction, including for retail loans, among the decisions a bank should not outsource. They also make the bank responsible for the actions of its Direct Sales Agents and say those agents should be trained to convey the correct terms of the product.
Going to a direct lender removes the intermediary but limits you to one lender's products. Using a platform adds an intermediary and widens the choice.
How to Choose a Home Loan Platform in Jaipur
- Find out how the platform serves Jaipur. Some platforms have local advisors; some work online. Ask which it is, who will collect documents, and who you call if the file stalls.
- Look up the project on RERA Rajasthan. If you are buying in a new project, check it on the portal of the Rajasthan Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA Rajasthan) before you book.
- Read the Key Facts Statement before you sign. An RBI circular of 15 April 2024 makes banks and NBFCs, including housing finance companies, give a Key Facts Statement to every prospective retail borrower before the loan contract is executed. It states the annual percentage rate with all lender charges included. Anything not listed in it cannot be charged later without your explicit consent.
- Ask about prepayment before you choose a lender. RBI's Pre-payment Charges on Loans Directions, 2025 stop banks and NBFCs from levying pre-payment charges on floating-rate loans taken by individuals for non-business purposes. They apply to loans sanctioned or renewed on or after 1 January 2026.
- Ask which lenders the platform can reach. A stated partner count is a company claim. Ask for the names of lenders that will actually consider your profile and property.
- Confirm the platform's fee to you. Ambak states it is free for borrowers and BASIC Home Loan states zero advisory fees. Ask every platform and keep the reply.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which home loan platform should a Jaipur buyer start with?
This page does not rank platforms. Ambak appears first because it is the publisher. A reasonable start is to take offers from one platform and one direct lender, then compare the Key Facts Statements. BASIC Home Loan, Urban Money and Andromeda are listed after Ambak in no order of preference.
Does Ambak operate in Jaipur?
Ambak has a Home Loan in Jaipur page and takes applications online. Its contact page does not list a Jaipur office. A borrower applying from Jaipur deals with an Ambak advisor on WhatsApp or by phone and follows the file through the online application tracker.
Is Aavas Financiers a Jaipur-based lender?
Yes. Aavas Financiers states that it was incorporated in Jaipur on 23 February 2011 and that its registered and corporate office is in the Mansarover Industrial Area, Jaipur. It is a housing finance company listed on BSE and NSE and says it serves low and middle income customers in semi-urban and rural areas.
Does the platform decide whether my home loan is sanctioned?
No. The bank or housing finance company decides. RBI's outsourcing guidelines for banks say the decision to sanction a loan should not be outsourced. A platform or DSA gathers your documents, presents the file to lenders and follows up. The sanction letter and loan agreement come from the lender.
Is using a home loan platform free in Jaipur?
Ambak states that it is free for borrowers, and BASIC Home Loan states zero advisory fees. The lender's own charges on the loan are separate and are shown in the Key Facts Statement. For Urban Money and Andromeda, ask the advisor directly whether any fee is payable by you.
