Home loan rates for Surat buyers start at 7.40% p.a. (Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India), per the banks' official rate cards in October 2026. SBI starts at 7.50%, HDFC Bank and Axis Bank at 8.00%. The RBI repo rate is 5.50% after the 25 bps hike on 7 October 2026, and banks have passed it through to new floating-rate loans.
